Upload files
Upload files to Victus Drive (Nextcloud) from your browser — single files, whole folders, and large uploads — and where they land in your storage.
Victus file hosting runs on Victus Drive, a Nextcloud instance at https://drive.victuscloud.com. Every file you upload is private to your account, stored in your personal folder, and counts against your storage quota. This guide covers the fastest ways to get files in.
Upload from the web interface
- 1Sign in at https://drive.victuscloud.com with your Victus account.
- 2Open the folder you want the file to land in (create one first with the "+ New" / plus button if needed).
- 3Click the "+ New" button and choose "Upload files", or simply drag files from your computer straight onto the file list.
- 4Watch the progress bar at the top of the file list. When it finishes, the file appears in the current folder.
Drag a whole folder
Modern browsers let you drag an entire folder (with its subfolders) onto the file list and Drive recreates the structure for you. This is the quickest way to move a project directory into your account.
Large files and resumable uploads
Drive uploads large files in chunks, so a dropped connection does not force you to start from zero — the transfer resumes. Keep the browser tab open until the progress bar completes. If a very large upload stalls or fails, it is almost always a quota or disk issue rather than the file itself; see the "Why my upload failed" article.
Watch your 10 GB quota
Standard accounts have a 10 GB quota. An upload that would push you over the limit is rejected before it completes, so free up space or check your usage first for big transfers.
Sync from desktop and mobile (optional)
Because Drive is Nextcloud, you can also use the official Nextcloud desktop and mobile clients for automatic background sync. Point the client at the server URL https://drive.victuscloud.com and sign in with your Victus credentials; anything placed in the synced folder uploads automatically.
