Storage quota (10 GB)

Understand the 10 GB Victus Drive storage quota — how usage is counted, how to check it, what happens when you hit the limit, and how to free space.

file hostingdrivenextcloudquotastorage10gblimit

Standard Victus Drive accounts come with a 10 GB storage quota. Everything in your account counts toward it: uploaded files, files pulled from a URL, files others drop into your shared folders, and previous versions kept by version history.

Check your current usage

  1. 1Sign in at https://drive.victuscloud.com.
  2. 2Open your personal settings (the account avatar, top-right).
  3. 3The usage bar shows how much of your 10 GB is used and how much remains.
BehaviourWhat happens
Upload that fitsCompletes normally and the usage bar rises.
Upload that would exceed 10 GBRejected before completing (you may see a 507 Insufficient Storage error).
Deleting filesSpace is freed only once the file also leaves the Deleted files (trash) area.
Old file versionsVersion history can quietly consume part of your quota.

507 means you are out of room

A 507 Insufficient Storage error on upload means the transfer would push you past 10 GB. Free up space (see below) and retry — see the "Why my upload failed" article for the full breakdown.

Free up space

  • Empty the Deleted files (trash) area — deleted files still count until the trash is emptied.
  • Clear old versions from version history on large, frequently-edited files.
  • Remove large files you no longer need, or move them to a game-server/VPS instance if that is where they belong.
  • Compress folders of many small files into a single archive before storing them.

Need more than 10 GB?

The 10 GB quota is the standard allocation. If your workflow needs more, open a Discord ticket or use the on-site support widget to ask about a larger allocation.
